We're going on an Autumn hunt. . . .

This week we have been looking at Autumn and learning about the changes that happen at this time. The children have really enjoyed discussing it and have made some fantastic observations.
'the leaves are on the floor!'
'look red and yellow and brown and green'
'you need to wear your gloves and a scarf . . .maybe a hat. It's cold.'
We really enjoyed finding Spinny Jenny seeds and throwing them up in to the air. They came back down in a really fast spiral.
We read the story of Leaf Man (I will leave a link under here) and collected our own leaves. The children made pictures using the leaves.
