Seasons

This week we have noticed a change in the weather.....this prompted us to go on a walk around our school grounds. We ended up in the Key Stage 2 forest area. The children were on the look out for changes in our weather and season. The children were able to name the 4 seasons, we discussed the weather today and our favourite seasons. The children also took photographs using Ipads. 

"I saw sunny and warm weather at the beach and I made a sandcastle"

"my favourite season is winter because I like snow"

"I also like the weather sunny, coz I can play in the park"

"I like spring because I like flowers and leaves"

"look a budding leaf"

"it's starting to grow"

"there's a birds nest up in the tree, it's a big one"

"there's no leaves here"

"they're starting to grow here, the leaves look!"
