Reading books

Date: 4th Oct 2020 @ 12:22pm

Reading at home is essential to help your child practise and improve their reading skills. All children will be bringing a book home each week to share with you. Your child is not expected to be able to read this book. It is a book for you to read with them!

Books will go home on a Monday and need to be returned to school every Thursday. The books will then remain in school before being changed again the following  Monday. All children are encouraged to share their books daily.  We ask that you help your child look after their reading book as these are costly to replace.

Further reading is also available via Oxford Owls and the reading cloud for which your child has the log in details.

Also , please check If you have a reading book at home from the previous year. If you do,  please return to school as soon as possible.
