Read Write Inc

Thank you to the parents that attended our Read Write Inc parent workshop last week. If you missed the meeting, our next one will be on 8th November 9:10 - 9:30. For those that would like some more information about how we teach your children how to read and write, please see the powerpoint below. If you would like to speak more about Read Write Inc, please speak to your class teacher and we can show you how to support your child at home.
Some helpful 'reading tips' are listed below;
- Enjoy reading a story together every day
- Practise forming your letters (especially the ones in your name)
- Practise reading the letters your child has been taught (check your child's reading diary for the sounds that they have been taught this week)
