Next week's learning

Good afternoon everyone! I hope that you are all having a fantastic weekend. I thought that I would share with you all the exciting things that we will be learning next week!

The children have been very interested this week in Firefighters and Police Officers. With this in mind, we are going to do a focus on these this week! 

Some of the things we will be doing include . . .

• Using our pincer grip fingers to 'put out fires' (not real ones, don't worry!)
• Learning about what Firefighters and Police Officers do to keep us safe.
• Writing Thank You cards to people who help us
• Making fire engines and police cars out of junk modelling.
• Painting fires using red, orange and yellow paint. 

The week will finish on a real high! Mr Wilcox, our forest schools teacher, is going to light a real fire with the children and show them. They will talk about how fires start and fire safety. It is going to be so exciting!
