Autumn is here!

This week we have all noticed a change in the weather. We have been talking about the season of Autumn and the changes that happen. The children have also enjoyed exploring soil, herbs (grown in our own sensory garden), conkers and pine cones.

"that looks like a green hedgehog...it looks spikey" (conker shell)

"conkers comes from trees, we find them down on the ground"

"that's Autumn because the leaves are falling down, they're orange and yellow"

"pumpkins are here at halloween"

"I saw a squirrel on the tree yesterday and it ran away"
