Art in Year 1

This half term our topic is 'The Local Area'.  This week the children in Year 1 looked closely at Victoria Mill (we can see if from our school!) and used oil pastels to create their pictures. The children were asked to layer the oil pastels to create different textures. The children did a fantastic job and their artwork has been displayed in the classroom. Here are a few examples!
