Welcome back after half term.....this half term we are learning about 'Fantasy and Adventure'

This week the children have enjoyed reading the story 'Billy and the Dragon'. Some children have enjoyed re-telling and acting out the story too! Our word of the week was 'knight'. As part of the children's challenges they were asked to create or draw a castle fit for a King (Charles!) and also use the word 'knight' during play. Lots of children have completed their challenges this week - WELL DONE!

The children have used their imagination this week and taken the dragons, knights and fairies on adventures in our 'Imagination Island'. They have made their own crowns, sheilds and wands in our 'Fabulous Finger' area. They have made special potions in our 'Tactile Tub'. 

We have lots more exciting things to come this half term....science week, Easter and Mothers Day celebrations and much more!
