The Heart Investigation

Year 6 have been learning all about the circulatory system. It's role is to transport oxgen, water and nutrients around the body. As the circulatory system includes the heart , blood vessels and blood the children enjoyed the opportunity to look at the heart of an ox and a lamb and dissect them. This helped to see the external features including the major blood vesssels. What an interesting science session it was. Can you see the interest of all the children in the photos ?
