Fire Safety in the home

Year 6 enjoyed a visit by the fire service. The fire fighters from Phillips Park fire station worked with the pupils discussing fire safety at home.
They shared many ways to keep the home safe, especially what to do in the event of a fire. They discussed items in the home that may cause fire, and creating a fire evacuation plan for at home. The fire service will fit smoke alarms in any home that does not have one.
