Talk through stories

Date: 10th Feb 2020 @ 7:32pm

As the children have loved 'talk through stories' over the past two weeks, we have moved onto the next book early before half term!

This week's book is The Rainbow Fish.

Everyday we will read the story and then have a different focus each day; vocabulary, characters, feelings, problems in the story. This week, the children will be introduced to the plot, characters and problems. After half term, we will focus on key vocabulary and ask the children to use these new words in their everyday language.

If you have this story at home please share this with them. Or go to the local library and borrow for a few weeks!

The children enjoyed 'Room on the Broom' last week, the book is in the Reading Area and we hope the children continue to use key vocabulary!
