Marshmellows and butterflies

Date: 9th Jul 2021 @ 4:32pm

What an exciting afternoon we have had! Our favourite visitor came this afternoon, Sam from We Are Adventurers. He lit a fire and taught the children all about fire safety. They then had the chance to toast marshmellows on the fire and eat them after. The children had been looking forward to this all week!

After Forest Schools, we joined with Reception (at a distance of course!) to watch their butterflies be released. They have been growing them from caterpillars for the last few weeks!

Here are some pictures from our afternoon and a video of the butterflies emerging from their home.

Have a lovely weekend, enjoy the football and we will see you next week!
