Another busy week for Year 1.

In maths we have been writing numbers 0 to 10 and counting groups of objects.  We have been exploring numbers to ten in words, amounts and using numerals. Please see the rhymes below and help your child have a go at writing these at home.

Here are some ideas for using the number formation rhymes:

• race cars on the numbers
• form numbers with play dough
• writing numbers on a bag filled with paint or hair gel
• use q-tips and paint to trace the numbers
