Goldilocks and the Three Bears

This week we have been reading the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children enjoyed listening to the story and then acting it out! We learnt about different kinds of bears and thought about the character of Goldilocks and whether it was a nice thing to do to eat all of Baby Bears porridge! The highlight of the week was when we made porridge and tasted it. There were very mixed reviews on Mrs Musselle's porridge cooking skills!!

'It's delicious. I want more'

Mrs Musselle was so impressed with how many children were willing to try it. They were interested to see how the porridge changed from dry oats, to sloppy milk and then finally to creamy porridge.
