Dear Diary

Dear Diary,

Write a few sentences or draw and label some pictures to explain what has happened during the day / week. The children could present this as a book or a poster, or even use a notebook and write it like a real diary. Encourage the children to use their 'Fred fingers' to help them when spelling words.

Questions to support the children's writing:

• ●  What did you have to eat? Did you help to make it?

• ●  What are you planning on doing tomorrow?

• ●  Who have you spent the day with?
