Black History Month

Year 4 have enjoyed learning about Black History Month . All pupils enjoyed a story session with the well kinown Nigerian author Ifeoma Onyefulu. She was able to share her experiences of growing up in Nigerian and writing many stories. The children enjoyed listening to A is for Africa and asked many questions about her books. All the children completed a drawing of some of the different animals in Africa and shared their work with her.  Look at the gallery for examples of the completed work.
