Black History Month Year 5

Year 5 has been celebrating Black History Month. We have looked at the importance, care and history of Afro hair and styles and created presentations celebrating afro hair and the various styles.
Children have also written a short biography. Children wrote about a range of people including Mo Farah, Mary Seacole, Marcus Rashford, Lewis Hamilton and John Blanke.
In Music, children listened and learned to sing the Gospel song "Joyful Joyful"
