A right royal week in Nursery!

Nursery have had so much fun learning about the Queen and the Platinum Jubilee this week! We have made tea parties, explored coins with the Queen's head on, built castles and made stories with the Royal family. We have especially enjoyed making crowns and masks! 

The week was finished off perfectly with our Jubilee party today. The children all looked amazing in their party clothes and loved the 'street party' in the hall. Check out the special cakes that they had with the Union Jack on!

This afternoon there was an extra special treat - the ice cream truck visited!!!! Every child got an ice cream or an ice lolly - the teachers enjoyed it too!! We finished the day with party games and dancing. 

The children's behaviour today was exemplary and we are so proud of them. They are definitely getting read for Reception now!
