A fun-tastic Friday to end a great week

Date: 17th Jun 2022 @ 3:50pm

We have had a wonderful week in Nursery learning all about water and things that live under the sea.

We also had a delivery of chicken eggs on Monday which very quickly hatched and turned into 10 little fluffy chicks!! We have 8 boys and 2 girls. Today, they were big enough that we could have a hold of the chicks. Some of the children were a little bit unsure but all of them had a really good look at the chicks and a stroke. I've put pictures on here of the children who did hold the chicks and those who didn't want to do it today can have another chance next week if they would like to! The chicks are living with us until next Friday.

In preparation for our short lived heat wave, we have had lots of discussions this week on staying safe in the sun. Ask your child about what they can remember.

In Multisports today we practised our balancing skills by making towers of different sizes. It was too hot to do too much running around!

In Forest Schools, we are working towards a special nature award! This week involved the children making bee houses. I will give you all more information about this next week.

We finished the day off with a little treat of ice pops to cool us all down!

As always, I am leaving you with lots of pictures! Next week we are doing lots of work on magnets so keep your eyes peeled for a blog about that next week.

Have a fantastic weekend.
