6V Heart Exploration

6V had the opportunity to examine real hearts (from a lamb and ox). After some initial squeals and 'ewwwwws', we set down to observe the ins and outs of the heart, making note of the feel, colour, shape and odour (to name but a few). Their favourite part seemed to be exploring the aortas and arteries, getting messy (albeit gloved) fingers in the process.
