All staff are responsible for safeguarding all children and all staff are required to log and share any safeguarding concerns with our safeguarding leader/designated person for child protection Miss Lewis or with other agencies within the Local Authority.  The handbook below, written for parents/carers explains this process.

Safeguarding Handbook for Parents and Carers

Parents will be aware that there are some risks to a child's safety when using the internet. School monitors the content of what children access via the internet in school. In school children do not have access to contacting others using school equipment. As social media is accessible in most modern homes, it is important that  parents and carers are  vigilant and monitor what children access on the internet.  Ensuring that children do not make contact with strangers on line is key to keeping your children safe.
